Digital Previews

As well as providing digital projectors for dailies we also use them for Digital Previews, showing a movie usually months in advance to a selected audience to gauge their reaction. Most of the material is of standard definition (625 Pal, 525 NTSC) and up-converded to HD which can be done Bell Theatre Services. Nowadays most material is all ready HD in the format of Panasonic HDD5 or Sony HDCAM SR, though in more recent times the material is mastered on to a cinema server and played back encrypted.
