We have supplied many productions with rushes projection equipment, allowing on-location viewing of the daily footage shot. Whether in Cornwall, the west coast of Ireland, or as far afield as South Africa or New Zealand, this has proved a valuable service for many film productions.
Based around a modified, portable Portacine 35mm double-head projector, with 8 foot screen and a mono sound system, the system allows practical viewing of double-head rushes without the expense and space required for full-size double system equipment.
Digital dailies are now being more widely implemented this allowing the production to telecine all their dailies on to one or two HD tapes. The equipment provided are 2K DLP cinema projector (Barco DP100 or NEC IS8) and an HD playback machine most popular Sony HDCAM.
